Error message: Error starting service: CACHE

Problem: When starting up Cache, the following error appears:

cstart.exe error: pid = 4048

(111) Error starting service: CACHE
Reason: (1058) The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.

Solution: It is likely that something (possibly anti-virus or another program) has disabled the Cache Controller.

Open Services and find the Cache Controller for CACHE service. Change the Startup Type from Disabled to Automatic, and then Start the service.
