What does Update Key of a Model do?

When Updating a Model Key, EPASS will also update all existing Serials for that model as well if you choose “Update Serial Numbers for This Model”

When you choose this option on the Update Key for a Model it will do the following

• Update all serials that were associated with the old model to the new model
• If you printed a label for the previous serial, you can still scan the label and it will bring up the new model.
• If the serial is in a Taken Status, it will not update that serial as the serial is sold and out the door.
