    Setting up Lane 7000 Pinpad for EPASS Pay

    Connecting the Lane 7000 to your Network

    Follow the steps below to connect the device.

    1. Gather your materials from your box

    1. Connect the PinPad Cable to the back of your Lane 7000.

    1. With the same PinPad cable connect the ethernet portion into your router/switch and then connect the included power supply into the Pinpad cable (Next to the ethernet cable).

     

    1. Plug the power supply into the outlet
    2. Your device will begin to boot up. This will take a while, please be patient.
    3. While the device is booting up, you can tether your magnetic stylus to the top of the device by slipping the cord loop around the tether slot.

    1. When the bootup process is complete, you will see an activation code on the terminal screen.
    2. If you see the flash screen and did not receive an activation code, please unplug the terminal from the wall and leave out for 30 seconds then plug it back into the wall to reboot the terminal.

    When you see the activation code, you know that the device is connected to the internet. The next step is to activate the device in Merchant Track.
