How do I switch over to EPASS Pay?

Here is an overview of the process for switching your payment processing to EPASS Pay:

1. Obtain a Merchant ID (MID)
   - You will work with our team to apply for a merchant processing account.
   - You can have a single MID for your entire business, or separate ones for each branch.
    
2. Order terminals
   - Options are available here. 
    
3. Update your EPASS database
   - We may need to schedule an after-hours update of your EPASS database.
    
4. Activate terminals and configure EPASS
   - The EPASS Support team will walk you through this process.

5. Testing
   - Review our EPASS Pay documentation. 
   - Ensure that all devices are working and have been tested at the location they will be used.
   - Run some test transactions to get comfortable with how EPASS Pay works. 
    
6. Set a cut-over date
   - Let EPASS Support know when you will be going live with EPASS Pay so that the technican will be on standby for any questions.
    
7. Train your team
   - Now that you are comfortable with EPASS Pay, you can share the knowledge with your team and get them up to speed.
    
8. Remove your old terminals and begin processing
   - On the cut-over date, begin processing new transactions using EPASS Pay.
   - Disconnect your old payment terminals and cancel your service.
   IMPORTANT NOTE: if you process transactions via your website, you will need to keep your existing payment processing in place until you can make arrangements to switch over to EPASS Pay (coming in the future).
    
9. PCI Compliance
   - 1 week after your first batch is successfully settled, you will be contacted by our PCI compliance partner, SecurityMetrics. 
    
10. Click to Pay (optional)
    - Now that you are up and running with EPASS Pay, contact EPASS Support to move forward with implementing Click to Pay to accept payments via email, text message, or integrated on your website.
